Juanita Jackson Mitchell (1913-1992) founded the City-Wide Young People’s Forum and the NAACP Youth Movement in Baltimore. She was the first black woman to practice law in Maryland. She was also wife to Clarence Mitchell Jr. and daughter of Dr. Lillie May Carroll Jackson and Keiffer Jackson.
